Five funky new colour-splashed canvases have just arrived from artist Michael Black.
Michael's pieces combine sand and other mixed media to create organic/biomorphic forms. He has tried to balance the pre-planned with the immediacy of the painting process itself, so that the images created are able to utilize abstraction's ability to convey universal themes as well as variations in interpretation.
