The Enchanting Evolution of Sharon Barr

Toronto artist Sharon Barr joined us here at Canvas Gallery over a decade ago with her beautiful paintings.  Megan initially did a studio visit to investigate her figurative works, but was immediately intrigued by Sharon's abstract, magnolia compositions (which Mark was hesitant about the success of, but how wrong he was!)

Over the years, her style has changed and evolved into the vibrant, textural and layered pieces you see today. To this date Sharon has sold over 300 paintings at Canvas and has been a favourite of Sarah Richardson Design, with her work being featured in several magazines, publications & design programs.
