New gorgeous mixed media works on paper have just arrived from printmaker Tammy Ratcliff.
Tammy's intaglio, monotype prints and mixed media works strive to convey her fascination with the natural world; its strength and beauty while drawing attention to the imperfections and impermanence inherent in all living things.
Her recent work is composed of multiple layered etching, relief and monotype prints on semi-transparent washi (fine handmade Japanese papers), re-working and recycling previous prints to assemble them into larger compositions.
