Toronto artist Brian Harvey's paintings are studies of the commonplace and the typically mundane; his subjects include everyday household objects, interior spaces and urban landscapes.
Karen Kawarsky's work is influenced by a fresco technique, dating back to the middle ages, through her use of stain, oil and acrylics applied to wet and dried plaster on wood. She uses a high gloss epoxy resin to finish each piece.
